One cookbook for everything you cook.
The recipes you actually make are spread across bookmarks, screenshots, three subscriptions, and page 212 of a book on the shelf. Cook:RE puts them in one library, lets you edit any of them, and makes each one easier to cook — any batch size, cups or grams, timers included.
EDIT EVERYTHING
You used to keep a few cookbooks and mark the pages you liked. Now recipes are on ad-covered websites, behind a different subscription and a different app each time, and saved in whatever place seemed convenient at the time. The recipes you actually make are a short list, but they aren’t stored in one place, and none of the apps will let you change them.
Curate
One library for the recipes you make, wherever they came from — a website, a subscription app, a photo of a page. Share it in, tag it, and find it in five seconds next time.
Customize
Less salt. Cherries instead of raisins. Skip the topping. Every recipe you save is fully editable, and your changes are saved for next time.
Cook
Scale it to the pan you own, in the units you measure with. Each step lists the amounts it needs. Tap a time in the instructions and get a timer on your lock screen.
Everything you cook, in one place.
Share a recipe in from a browser, from a subscription app, from a screenshot, or from a photo of a cookbook page. It arrives laid out properly — yield, times, ingredients, steps — and joins one library you can tag, group, and search. Everything you cook from is in the same place.
- / Share in from any site, app, or photo
- / Tags and collections you define
- / Still yours if a subscription lapses
Change any recipe you save.
You can write in a cookbook. You can’t change a recipe on a website. In Cook:RE, every recipe you save is yours to edit: cut the sugar, swap the raisins for dried cherries, mark the topping optional, rewrite a step that never worked. Your version is the one you cook from next time.
- / Edit amounts, ingredients, and wording
- / Swap or mark anything optional
- / Keep your own notes on the recipe
The step tells you how much.
No scrolling back up mid-knead to work out how much salt. Every step carries the amounts it needs, already adjusted to the batch you’re making and shown in the units you measure with. And any time written into the instructions — “rise 2 hours” — becomes a timer on your lock screen with one tap.
- / Amounts right there in the step
- / Tap a time, get a timer
- / Run as many timers as the recipe needs
Double it. Halve it. Weigh it.
Here’s a real recipe from the library above. Change the batch size or the units, and every amount stays something you can measure out, whatever units the original recipe used.
Weights are per ingredient, not a single conversion · adjust any of them to match yours
One price, three ways to pay it.
Try it first. When you want the whole library, pick whichever of these suits you — they all unlock the same app.
Cook it your way.
One library for every recipe you cook, all of it editable, all of it on your iPhone. No account, no feed, and nothing you lose when a website shuts down.
